Pemberton Backyard Wedding | Meriel & Will
I have been meaning to share this beautiful backyard wedding in Pemberton for awhile. One year postponed, these two decided they couldn’t wait any more. They downsized their guest list to 50 to meet the restrictions, which enabled them to host their wedding at Will’s parents home in Pemberton.
It had been the classic Juneary scenario, lots of rain. But these two caught a break, and the clouds parted ways. Their ceremony was held in front a large willow tree. Meriel’s grandfather performed the ceremony which was incredibly heart felt and of course very meaningful. Those friends and family that were unable to be there, were able to watch the ceremony by zoom. Their dog Nova, was their ring bearer.
We took photos in the large field that is apart of the property, among the tall grass, and lupins. Meriel switched out her veil, for a beautiful hat, adorned with flowers. Her bouquet, a gorgeous palette of pastels.
The wedding reception was set up under a stretch tent in the side yard. The florals and details by Flowers and Jules were stunning. 2 large tables were lined on either side of the dance floor. The canapés and 3 course dinner was catered by the amazing Collective Kitchen.
After speeches, they tore it up on the dance floor, and Meriel had one more outfit change. A beautiful long sleeved, boho top to wear over her dress, which was super fun for dancing.
A few big life events since their summer wedding. She became a Dr. in Psychology, which is pretty darn cool. Sadly her grandma has passed on. Thankful they were able to make this day happen, so she could be in attendance.
