Vena & Stephen | Pemberton Engagement Session

Back in May I spent 3 days with this lovely couple. The first was a sunrise engagement session in Pemberton at One Mile Lake.

We had a fairly miserable spring as most will remember. This week in particular, I had been following the weather closely as we were to meet at 5am. I wanted to be sure we got the sunrise. It was calling for a beautiful day, and of course when I got in my car and started my drive to Pemberton, it was raining. Not what the weatherman had been predicting which was a bit of a bummer. We lucked out with fairly clear skies in Pemberton, but the clouds did roll in quickly. Regardless, the photos turned out awesome. Maybe not that sunrise glow we were all hoping for, but a beautiful moody morning instead.

Two days later for their wedding, it was nothing but blue skies and the first real heat wave of the summer.
