Desert Wanderings | Joshua Tree, California

I have always wanted to go to Joshua Tree, to wander the desert among the cacti, and rugged rock formations that remind me of something out of the Flintstones. Being invited to come along on this trip was something I could not say no to. The purpose, celebrating the upcoming wedding of our talented friend Darby Magill (check her work out, she’s the bomb), flying her to the desert for her stagette.

This post is of some of my favorites from our venture to the desert. Named after the region’s twisted, bristled Joshua Trees that look like something straight out of a Dr. Seuss book. Where the light is dreamy, and the landscape inspiring. From the amount of beer and margaritas in these photos, you may think we are endorsing Modelo, but what’s a girls weekend without one too many cheeky drinks?
