Smokey Wedding, Pemberton BC| Lilli & Andy
We all woke to one of the smokiest August days of the summer. Having a smokey wedding is not what couples hope for. They want those big beautiful landscapes, especially here in the Sea to Sky where the location is such a huge factor for selecting venues. Unfortunately, you can’t control the weather. Disappointing, incredibly so, but these two had the most positive outlook and didn’t let it dampen their mood one bit.
Lilli & Andy… these two are warm, kind and hilarious individuals. They embraced me into their wedding day and made me feel like they’ve know me for years.
Their wedding took place at a family friends private estate in Pemberton BC, Three Rivers Ranch. Mt. Currie was hiding within the smoke filled landscape, but really, it just looked like a warm toned fog, diffusing the harsh sun, and making for beautiful photos. Lilli is an event planner, and her sister a florist. Everything was put together perfectly. Stunning florals, with hints of hops pinned in her hair, dangling from her bouquet, and adorned the middle of the tables. Collective Kitchen cooking up a mouth watering feast as they always do, and of course one of Whistler’s most iconic bands, The Hair Farmers getting one awesome dance party going, playing songs that really draw in all ages.
I learned so many things about them through the comical and heart felt speeches that unfolded. These two have so many amazing traits and attributes, far too many to list off here. Their laughs are contagious, their hearts big. I’m so thankful to have met these two, hoping it isn’t the last we see of each other.
Congratulations you two.
