Marie & Daniel’s wedding last month, started with rain. And not just any rain, think The Notebook rain. Absolutely down pouring. With a venue that is predominantly outdoors, the weather was not treating us well. Logistically, the wind was a doozy. Somehow, these two stayed so calm, and stayed true to their decision of having a ceremony in the forest. Minutes after their ceremony started, the rain drops stopped falling and the sun emerged through the clouds. The weather gods listened. For that, we were thankful.

Julia & Joseph’s engagement session in Squamish last month was so fun. These two scouted ahead of time to select a spot that was truly meaningful to them. Knowing the typical locations that most are drawn to, they decided for a climbing spot, that provided them with something unique, as well as very relative to them and their outdoorsy life. We went to their home after to pop a bottle of sparkling on the roof top, take in the views of the surrounding mountains and the setting sun.

Can’t wait for their wedding next year. These two planned a two day event, and it’s going to be so much fun.
