Hunter | Where the Wild Things Are

My recent trip home to Victoria was full of photography sessions, a few family, some lifestyle and a wedding. Ultimately reconnecting me with people I grew up with, being introduced to their little ones, their fur babes, and those that haven’t quite arrived from the safety and comfort of the womb.

Sara is expecting her second son this August. Her first born, Hunter, is just about to turn two. The theme for his upcoming birthday party is Where the Wild Things Are, a book by Maurice Sandek that I’m sure most of us remember from our own childhood. They met me in Beacon Hill Park, Hunter dressed in his Max costume, which was so darn cute. Chasing a busy 2 year old around the tall grass has it’s challenges, but I’m so happy with how they turned out.
