Rachel & Clark are two individuals that truly knew what they wanted for their wedding. A Pemberton Valley Wedding was just that. I had many phone calls and emails discussing their vision, and through that process, I felt like I really got to know them. I had the pleasure of capturing their engagement photos in Whistler, on a brisk September morning at sunrise, as well as their rehearsal dinner at The Cellar at Araxi, and this incredible celebration, that was their wedding.

These two met 6 years ago at a bar, an unlikely scenario given it’s not really their scene, and they instantly connected. Both from different states, these two took a giant leap of faith with each other, starting a long distance relationship, that ultimately took them from one side of the country to the other, and it paid off hugely.

Their deep love for the mountains, brought them up from Seattle, to BC. They chose North Arm Farm in Pemberton, as their venue for their destination wedding. Their family and friends flew in from all corners of the states, to watch these two promise themselves to each other, with the most incredible vows I think I’ve heard to date. Their love truly is what books are written about.

So much thought went into all the details. It was a modern, and elegant affair, filled with so much love and kindness from everyone there.
